Café Ceilidh Collective have won national folk music competitions and regularly perform on radio. With over 10 years’ experience, the in demand Café Ceilidh perform regularly at a wide range of events including weddings and parties of all shapes and sizes. A Ceilidh is the perfect way to meet the rest of the family. The band’s friendly caller will explain everything step by step, so everyone can join in and enjoy the fun.
Café Ceilidh’s style caters for both relaxed background music and dancing. They have a varied repertoire of popular and well known Scottish tunes from relaxed waltzes through to much livelier dances. The choice of dances can be arranged with you in advance or just leave it up to the band’s expertise.
Café Ceilidh will also take care of your first dance. Pre-recorded track can be played through their sound system, or they can perform a live traditional Scottish tune for you to dance to.
The band’s line up is fiddle, piano/caller and drums.
The band supplies their own PA system and offer a DJ / disco to finish off the night (option on request).
