What’s bright, sharp and as rare as anything you’ve ever seen? Diamonds are a soul/jazz collective with a strong following in the London events scene. Every year they play more than 100 shows, from weddings and bar mitzvahs to professional award ceremonies across Great Britain. Now, the Diamonds are poised to coast to your next get-together through Silk Street.
As trained session musicians, the band has been backing hot new artists – as well as industry veterans – for a long time. They usually play as a five-piece, but can modify the line-up for the occasion. Diamonds can go from two to ten performers, scaled to your party, ceremony or function.
And how about their repertoire? Pretty much every taste can be tailored to; start off with covers of Amy Winehouse and Meghan Trainor before rolling on to Sinatra, MJ and Emeli Sandé, bridging any generational gaps between your audience. Diamonds have all their own gear too, and can bring lights, drapes and glamour to your venue if it’s in need of something extra special.
