This beautiful summer wedding at Inverforth House was serenaded by Silk Street’s 1920s London jazz band, Silk Street Jazz. The spacious grounds and unbeatable sunshine made it a garden party their guests will never forget.

An English garden party like no other
Inverforth House is a palatial, Grade II listed house overlooking Hampstead Heath in north London. It was built in 1895 and still holds onto most of its original 19th Century features. The manicured lawns and white pillars are an unbeatable backdrop for wedding photos.
This was a big wedding that managed to retain a lot of intimacy. 250 guests were hosted in the house for the ceremony and under a large marquee in the garden during the reception. They were entertained all night by a live band and gospel choir.
On the menu were elegant canapés (served in classic China tea cups!) and champagne, followed by beef and watercress salad in the evening.

The band performed as guests arrived at the front of house, setting the tone for the whole day. They also serenaded guests on the lawns after the ceremony while they played a few games of croquet and enjoyed their champagne.
